Radioactivists of the Graz team grabbed recorders, went to the city center, to school, entered into the shop, met friends – different ages – and asked –

How sustainable is the lifestyle of you and your generation? 

While reaching out there among people we gathered snapshots from questions such as

Where do you buy clothes?

How do you see new generations?

Do you drive a car?

 

Leonie met with a diverse age group of theater artists to open a discussion round about intergenerational communication as well she gathered her perspectives on the Austrian education system into a commentary.

Sophie (23) shared with Leonie her thoughts on the lack of money and time making you less eco friendly. 

A 72 year old woman shared her feelings about the sustainable parts of living alone and growing pressure concerning consuming with Leonie.

Maryna discussed the viewpoints of radiomaker Winfried (47)  producing the show “Über Klima sprechen”.

Maryna and Hannah entered the second hand shop and talked with the employee.

Nicolas stopped ladies on the main street (59 and 40 years old) and met a 13 year old to discuss his shopping habits.

Addressing the environmental crisis from the local perspective


English:
A weekly series of podcasts actively addressing the environmental crisis from the local perspective of youth collaborating at the independent radio stations Radio MARŠ (Maribor, Slovenia), Radio Student (Zagreb, Croatia) and Radio Helsinki (Graz, Austria).

An international community of young radio makers and activists working for climate and social justice using the medium of radio to adress questions such as:
- How do youth in Maribor, Zagreb and Graz percieve littering?

- What are activists of climate and social justice saying about their voice being heard by local municipality of those cities?

- What do experts have to say about sustainable urban planning in Zagreb, Maribor and Graz?

Tune in the first three weeks of each month and listen to researches, interviews and reports from young podcast makers from those three radio stations. Every four months we will present you an international podcasts done by meeting of youth collaborators of all three radios opening the field together.

Eine wöchentliche Podcast-Reihe, die sich aktiv mit der Umweltkrise aus der lokalen Perspektive von Jugendlichen auseinandersetzt, die bei den unabhängigen Radiosendern Radio MARŠ (Maribor, Slowenien), Radio Student (Zagreb, Kroatien) und Radio Helsinki (Graz, Österreich) zusammenarbeiten.

Eine internationale Gemeinschaft junger RadiomacherInnen und AktivistInnen, die sich für Klimaschutz und soziale Gerechtigkeit einsetzen und das Medium Radio nutzen, um Fragen wie diese zu beantworten:

- Wie nehmen Jugendliche in Maribor, Zagreb und Graz Littering wahr?
- Was sagen AktivistInnen für Klima- und soziale Gerechtigkeit dazu, ob ihre Stimmen von der Stadtverwaltung dieser Städte gehört werden?
- Was sagen ExpertInnen über nachhaltige Stadtplanung in Zagreb, Maribor und Graz?

Schalten Sie in den ersten drei Wochen eines jeden Monats ein und hören Sie sich Recherchen, Interviews und Berichte von jungen Podcast-Machern aus diesen drei Radiosendern an. Alle vier Monate werden wir dir einen internationalen Podcast präsentieren, der durch ein Treffen von jugendlichen MitarbeiterInnen aller drei Radios gemacht wird, die gemeinsam das Feld eröffnen.
