Text-generating algorithms such as chatGPT are everywhere now. But how do they actually work, and what are the risks and consequences of their use? In this episode of Netzrauschen, we revisit mur.at’s last year’s worklab and take a deep dive into  the inner workings of such Large Language Models or LLMs. Media researcher Sarah Burkhardt and philosopher Maks Valencic explain what lies behind the surface of AI-powered tools, and how using them can impact our own way of thinking. For some fun on the side, you’ll also hear some hilarious chatbot fails and human-AI-collisions.
