Tribuna Festival: Kolumbien, Kolonialismus und globale Verbindungen kritisch beleuchtet

Komm nach Kolumbien, ohne Graz zu verlassen!" Das war das Motto des Tribuna Festivals am 22. und 23. Mai im Universitätszentrum Wall. Dort ging es um soziokulturelle und ökonomische Herausforderungen in Kolumbien und die Beziehungen des lateinamerikanischen Landes zu Österreich.
Radio Re:volt war dort und hat über den Anbau von Fairtrade-Kakao in Kolumbien erfahren. Auch Christina Korak, Sprachtrainerin und Dolmetscherin, war vor Ort und hat über ihre Reise nach Peru und das Projekt "Amazonas Akut!" erzählt.
Hubert Höllmüller, Professor an der FH Kärnten, sprach mit uns über die Westsahara, eine ehemalige spanische Kolonie, deren Bevölkerung bis heute unterdrückt wird. Über Kolonialismus und nachhaltigen Tourismus erzählte César Cano Restrepo vom Projekt "Casa Cultural de Colombia en Austria

We intend to create common spaces where everyone can express themselves without being discriminated because of religion, language, ethnicity, class, gender and/or sexual orientation. In addition, we cooperate with other people, institutions and organizations that also operate according to these principles.
The team in Graz consists of people with international history who come together in order to support each other, join diverse events, host workshops, gain and support empowerment throughout doing radio.
We aim to be an address for all people with international history who may have been forced to leave their homeland due to war, ecological destruction, religion, language, race, gender discrimination or economic difficulties. We want to amplify their voices and address common struggles.
