**Trigger warning: violence, murder, brutal descriptions**

Tamara speaks to Ammar H., a doctor living in Germany from the Syrian village of Al-Sanobar, which was attacked by the Islamist militia HTS at the beginning of March. Over 300 unarmed civilians were murdered in his home village, Ammar's family had to flee into the woods and their house was burnt down. According to Human Rights Watch Syria, 19,000 people have been murdered since the beginning of March and 15,000 more are missing, but most likely dead. Even now, the massacre of Alevis in Syria continues.
Ammar describes how he learned about the massacre, the images that haunt him to this day - and how he sees the Western media's treatment of HTS as trivialization and dangerous distortion. They talk about responsibility in journalism, about justice for the victims and about the pain that remains.

Radio Re:volt
Radical migrant radio with passion

We intend to create common spaces where everyone can express themselves without being discriminated because of religion, language, ethnicity, class, gender and/or sexual orientation. In addition, we cooperate with other people, institutions and organizations that also operate according to these principles.

The team in Graz consists of people with international history who come together in order to support each other, join diverse events, host workshops, gain and support empowerment throughout doing radio.

We aim to be an address for all people with international history who may have been forced to leave their homeland due to war, ecological destruction, religion, language, race, gender discrimination or economic difficulties. We want to amplify their voices and address common struggles.
